Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and role (student or professional).

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including prompts submitted, features used, and session metadata such as browser type and IP address.

Uploaded files: If you upload documents or images for analysis, we temporarily process those files to generate a response.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Fyzios.chat platform
• Personalise your experience based on your role and preferences
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
• Monitor usage patterns to improve AI response quality
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law.

Chat history, where retained, is stored on our servers. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).

Fyzios.chat uses OpenAI's API to generate responses to your prompts. When you send a message, your prompt and relevant conversation history are transmitted to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's data handling practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Important: Do not submit real patient data, personally identifiable health information, or protected health information (PHI) into Fyzios.chat. Our platform is intended for educational and general professional use only, not for processing actual patient records.

We do not use your prompts to train our own AI models. OpenAI may use API inputs for safety monitoring; please refer to OpenAI's usage policies for details.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing
• Data portability in a machine-readable format

Fyzios.chat uses essential cookies to manage authentication sessions. These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You can configure your browser to block cookies, but doing so may prevent you from logging in or using core features of the platform.
